Obiettivi formativi
L'insegnamento ha come scopo quello di approfondire le conoscenze fondamentali relative alle caratteristiche e funzioni dei principali agenti infettivi batterici e virali di interesse medico nella comunità.L'insegnamento si prefigge di: 1. Introdurre le studentesse e gli studenti alla conoscenza delle patologie microbiche presenti nella comunità; 2. Focalizzare l'attenzione sui microbi patogeni; 3. Evidenziare gli aspetti interattivi tra mondo microbico/ospite.
Risulta importante anche per la professione del/della Farmacista conoscere e saper descrivere i principali organismi patogeni, i loro meccanismi d'azione al fine di consigliare i pazienti.The aim of the course is to investigate which are the main causes of human microbial disease in the community in order to prepare students also from the point of view of special microbiology. The course aims to: 1. Introduce the student to the knowledge of the microbial world; 2. Focus attention on pathogenic microbes; 3. Infezione del sistema nervoso centrale: meningiti batteriche, profilassi e terapia
Infezioni dell'apparato genito urinario e malattie sessualmente trasmesse: i patogeni batterici, profilassi e terapia
Infezioni dell'apparato gastro-enterico: infezioni batteriche dello stomaco e dell'intestino

Modalità di verifica dell'apprendimento
La verifica della preparazione degli studenti e delle studentesse consiste in una prova scritta della durata di 40 minuti, costituita da 10 domande a risposta multipla (5 sulla batteriologia speciale e 5 sulla virologia speciale, 10 punti max) e 2 domande a risposta aperta (8 punti max ciascuna). La prova scritta sarà superata raggiungendo una valutazione complessiva di almeno 18/30. Segue la prova orale integrativa che consiste nella discussione dell'elaborato ed eventuale domanda orale (5 punti max).
La valutazione è basata sui seguenti criteri: comprensione della materia, capacità di collegamento tra gli argomenti del programma, uso della terminologia appropriata.
The exam is a written test, duration 40 minutes, consisting of 10 multiple choice questions (5 on special bacteriology and 5 on special virology, 10 points max) and 2 open questions (8 max points each). The written test will be passed reaching an overall evaluation of at least 18/30. This is followed by the supplementary oral exam which consists in the discussion of the paper and possible oral question (5 points max).
The assessment is based on the following criteria: understanding of the subject, ability to link between the topics of the program, use of appropriate terminology.
